Obesity

What is obesity

Obesity is the state of a person being overweight or grossly fat. In some countries, it is even considered a cancer as obesity can lead to many other diseases such as cardiac arrest, heart failure, and many more. An obese person will probably have about 20% of their normal weight. There is an exceptional way to find out if a person is obese or not, this way is B.M.I. Body mass index is derived from a persons weight and height. If a person's B.M.I. is between 25.5 and 29, the person is then overweight. If a person's B.M.I is above 30, this person is then considered officially obese.

Being obese is a problem both physically and mentally. Its part of a cycle which never ends. If a person is feeling depressed, they tend to eat more. By eating more, they tend to get depressed, and this cycle just goes on and on.

People caught in this cycle often have no way out and are lead to do horrible things such as suicide and such. Some people may eat to solve a problem, but it only makes it worse. Lets say this theres a kid with no friends. He feels sad and he tends to eat, as he tends to gain more and more weight, it gets harder and harder for him to get any friends.
